Really very sad tonight as it is the end of a fantastic tour with Justin Currie. Robert Vincent has been outstanding on any of the nights I have seen him and tonight was no exception.
As doors open the faithful few arrived American sisters Ellie & Cathy whom we met at previous gigs and Jackie and Sue who have been to every single gig this tour.
I didn't get any good pics of Rob on stage tonight unfortunately. But got a few of him after the gig meeting his new fans.

When gigs finished Jackie helped me to pack the gear up and I invited her back stage. Tour manager promised me a photo of Rob & Justin together tonight, so was looking forward to it. I went in and was properly introduced to Justin and after teasing him about his height (next to Rob). I got a pic of the two of them and one of us all together.
I told him about his huge fan outside. He then invited Jackie in and offered us both a drink. We sat and drank a beer each (we don't drink beer).
All I remember was thinking how bloody hungry I was looking at the ryder spread out on the table. Of course I was too polite to help myself to some food. We all chatted about all sorts and it was really like we were all mates.
Despite being invited for more drinks around Sheffield, Rob had to get back home so I drove Jackie home and went home with a massive grin on my face and really very excited about Scotland gig coming up this weekend. To excited I can't sleep....
